Hypnosis:

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring psychological phenomenon that involves accessing and harnessing the power of the mind’s innate abilities. It taps into the brain’s capacity for focused attention and heightened suggestibility, elements in everyday experiences like daydreaming or becoming deeply absorbed in an activity. In the therapeutic context, hypnosis is utilized to help individuals enter a state of deep relaxation and heightened focus, allowing them to be more open to positive suggestions and therapeutic interventions.

The benefits of hypnosis are immeasurable. It can be instrumental in managing and alleviating various emotional issues, such as anxiety, stress, fears, and trauma-related symptoms. Hypnosis is also effective in supporting behavior change, such as smoking cessation, weight management, and improving self-esteem. Additionally, academics and public speaking foster confidence, focus, mental clarity, and more.

Recognizing hypnosis as a natural process and utilizing its therapeutic power can lead to significant positive changes, overall well-being, and personal development.

Reiki:

In Reiki healing therapy, the practitioner plays a role in balancing the client’s energy. By channeling the life force energy, known as ‘ki, ‘the practitioner helps to restore the optimum balance for healing on all levels, promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Reiki therapy can be administered in per

Reiki combines “rei” (spirit or subtle energy) and “ki” (life force energy) from Japanese and Chinese origins. The practitioner channels this energy to the client, allowing the body to direct it where needed. Sensations during Reiki vary; some feel energy movements or release, while others may not sense anything. Still, the balancing effect occurs regardless. Most clients leave feeling relaxed and peaceful.

Reiki is widely recognized and respected for its benefits. Many hospitals, including Mass General, Children’s Hospital, and Brigham’s and Women’s in Boston, offer Reiki as a complementary service before and after surgeries, highlighting its credibility and effectiveness.

Emotional Freedom Technique:

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a healing technique that uses energy meridians based on the principles of acupuncture to unblock unresolved negative emotions and beliefs. These disruptive energies can cause the body to become unbalanced and interfere with your physical and emotional health, while inhibiting our natural ability to heal.

EFT’s simple tapping protocol realigns the body’s energy system process by gently tapping on key meridian points on the head, torso and hands  This system can be taught to clients to help them when dealing with issues (in the moment).
